Ready to start making videos? Good. You should! Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Recruiting/Culture video:
Show off what makes the atmosphere so awesome. Show what types of people work there, what the company does to appreciate their employees, and show the fun and exciting aspects of the job.People don’t make decisions to work for one company over the other based solely on responsibilities. They base decisions on culture and management as well. You can catch the eye of your ideal employees by showing off the culture your company has. Naturally, you’re going to turn some people off, which is good because that only makes your interviewing process easier!
Training:
Repeating yourself too much? Yeah, it’s time to make a training video. You can go as in-depth as you want, because the viewer can replay the video as many times as they need!
BrandFilm:
This is the overarching story of you or your business. Why? Because, people work with those they like. If they like you or connect with the story of your company or values, they are more likely to work with you.
Behind the Scenes:
This is to humanize you and your team. Give people a more personal side to interact with. When we are all work and no play… well, you know the saying. Show people some personality, it really does help them see you as a relatable person they can talk to.
Marketing:
This one can be the most intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. Answer these two questions first: What are your goals this month, this quarter, and this year? Now answer this: What values does the company hold most dear?
Mix those two things: Goal and value. The goal helps you leverage your values and your skills to make those goals a reality.
