Antonio Williams is more than just a coach—he’s a performance strategist dedicated to helping athletes of all levels move better, recover faster, and train smarter. As the founder and sports director of Next Level Athletic Fitness, Antonio has built a results-driven training program that blends athletic performance, injury prevention, and recovery to elevate athletes across all sports and skill levels.
At the heart of his method is a free assessment workout, which helps identify imbalances—like weak glutes, tight hip flexors, or overactive muscles—that limit performance and increase injury risk. This targeted approach allows him to craft personalized training regimens that get measurable results fast. “You can work really hard in the wrong direction,” Antonio shared. “That’s why assessments matter—we eliminate the guesswork.”
Antonio’s story began on the field. A former college and arena football player, he was motivated to pursue his master’s in exercise science after learning that better training could have taken his own career further. Antonio also emphasizes mental health in sports. “Injuries impact more than just the body,” he said. “Athletes can spiral into stress or depression if they don’t understand how to recover or prevent injury.” By addressing root causes and educating clients on smarter training, he provides more than just performance boosts—he offers peace of mind.
His upcoming Corrective Exercise Speed Camp on July 12 at Friendship Collegiate Academy in D.C. is a perfect example of his mission in action. Open to athletes of all levels, the camp focuses on flexibility recovery, injury prevention, and speed fundamentals—backed by science and proven success stories.
Antonio’s approach to coaching goes beyond reps and drills. It’s about rebuilding the athlete—physically, mentally, and strategically.
