Kristi Jo Frattone, known across Northern Virginia as the “NOVA Title Gal,” is proof that reinvention and purpose-driven work can change an entire career trajectory.

A native of the West Coast, Kristi Jo began her professional journey as an elementary school teacher. Teaching instilled in her patience, communication skills, and a love for helping people learn—qualities that later shaped her success in the real estate and title industry.

After 14 years in the classroom, her entrepreneurial spirit led her into sales and eventually into the world of event planning. Kristi Jo launched an event company in Arizona where each event had a purpose and gave back to the community. That passion for giving back remains at the core of everything she does today.

When the pandemic disrupted events, she pivoted into real estate, eventually relocating to Northern Virginia in 2022 to be closer to her family. Soon after, she discovered her true calling in the title and settlement industry. Now a licensed title agent with Pride Settlement & Escrow, Kristi Jo helps real estate agents, loan officers, and homebuyers navigate one of the most important transactions of their lives.

What sets her apart is her personal approach. She blends her background in education, marketing, and event planning to support her partners beyond the paperwork. She not only attends closings, but also offers first-time homebuyer classes, helps agents with marketing strategies like community farming, and even goes door-to-door to build neighborhood connections.

She ensures that clients understand every step of the closing process and often builds such strong relationships at the table that it ends with hugs and celebratory boomerang videos. Her leadership and authenticity have made her a trusted partner for countless real estate professionals in the DMV area.
