Ana Bialek, founder of the Bialek Property Group with eXp Realty, isn’t your typical real estate agent. With nearly two decades of experience as a civilian working for the Department of the Navy, Ana brings a strategic, numbers-driven edge to real estate that few can match. In our recent podcast conversation, Ana shared how she transitioned from federal budgets and strategic communications to real estate sales and investing—and how she now uses that experience to help others build true, lasting wealth.
Trading Security for Freedom
Ana spent almost 20 years working for the Navy at the Washington Navy Yard. She had a stable paycheck, solid benefits, and a predictable routine—but it wasn’t fulfilling. “At some point in 2021, I realized I didn’t want to do this anymore,” Ana recalls. Inspired by a conversation with fellow former government employee-turned-realtor Lauren Wiley, Ana took the leap. “She didn’t die, she didn’t fall apart—and I figured, if she could do it, so could I.”
Investing With Purpose
Ana’s path didn’t stop at selling homes. While she enjoyed the process, she quickly recognized that being a high-performing agent still meant trading time for money. A pivotal read—The Cashflow Breakfast Club by Omni Casey—shifted her thinking. The parable-based book opened her eyes to using real estate as a vehicle for passive income and long-term wealth.
Soon after, Ana and her husband immersed themselves in investor meetups and educational communities that expanded their perspective. “Step one was surrounding ourselves with people who knew more than we did,” she says. They went from casually renting out a beach house to treating properties like true investments—with clear financial strategies behind every move.
The Agent to Investor Podcast
Ana now co-hosts the Agent to Investor podcast with fellow realtor and investor Nico Garcia. The show was born from their weekly conversations about building wealth through real estate—and the realization that many agents, despite early access to deals, don’t know how to invest themselves.
Through the podcast, Ana hopes to bridge that gap. She provides practical insights into cap rates, cash-on-cash returns, and buying strategies. “Most agents are great at selling homes, but not all of them understand the investor mindset,” she explains. Each episode aims to educate agents and aspiring investors alike—empowering them to think differently and use real estate as a path to financial freedom.

Building Wealth One Client at a Time
Ana is passionate about guiding clients—especially government employees, military families, and first-time buyers—through real estate decisions that align with long-term wealth. “I help people look at their homes not just as places to live, but as strategic assets,” she says.

Ana credits her purpose to a question posed by mentor Omni Casey: Once you become financially independent, how will you change the world?
Her answer: “By showing people there’s another way. You don’t have to stay stuck. There are paths to freedom—and real estate is one of them.”
