Her research led her to work under one of the top female producers at First Home Mortgage. This mentor, a trailblazer with a wall of accolades, taught Chelsea invaluable lessons about dedication and perseverance. Yet, the experience also revealed the intense sacrifices required for such success.

“She didn’t get days off,” Chelsea reflects. “While the financial stability was appealing, I realized the quality of life she had wasn’t the path I wanted for myself.”

Power outages during her exam and the global shutdown due to COVID-19 on the very day she joined her first team tested her resolve. “It felt like the universe was telling me not to do this,” she jokes. But Chelsea persevered.

Chelsea had to adapt quickly to a world where face-to-face interactions were limited. “I’ve never had someone in my car,” she says, noting how drastically the industry had shifted.
