Glen’s path into the mortgage industry wasn’t a traditional one. After nearly two decades in the restaurant industry, he transitioned to real estate financing in 2017. Why the change? “When I got married, I had to choose between the restaurant business and my wife—and I chose my wife,” Glen shares with a smile. His decision was rooted in a desire to impact people’s lives on a larger scale.

From serving meals to serving dreams, Glen found that his knack for customer service translated seamlessly into helping families secure financing for their homes. Whether it’s a first home, a dream upgrade, or an investment property, Glen approaches each client’s journey with the same dedication he brought to the restaurant floor.

Dispelling Mortgage Myths

One of Glen’s greatest joys is educating homebuyers about the mortgage process. “There are so many misconceptions,” he says. “You don’t always need 20% down, and applying for a mortgage doesn’t lock you into a timeline. It’s about starting the conversation and creating a plan tailored to your goals.”

Glen emphasizes affordability over interest rates, working backward to help clients focus on what matters most: a comfortable monthly payment. “Life happens,” he explains. “The goal for first-time buyers isn’t to find a forever home—it’s to take the first step toward homeownership and build from there.”

A Champion for Growth and Resilience

The real estate market has seen its challenges over the past few years, with fluctuating interest rates and inventory shortages. But for Glen, challenges are opportunities. “The learning never stops in this business,” he says. “Every client is unique, and I love finding creative solutions to make their dreams a reality.”

His passion for growth extends beyond his work. Through initiatives like Cigars and Stoics, a community-focused group fostering meaningful conversations, and Top Golf Office Hours, a networking group for professionals, Glen pours his energy into strengthening connections and mental health awareness.

For Glen, the most rewarding part of his job is witnessing the transformative power of homeownership. “I didn’t grow up with a lot of wealth or homeownership in my family,” he reflects. “Helping people change their stars—building generational wealth through real estate—is why I do this. It’s not just about the house; it’s about the life you build in it.”
