When it comes to starting your business there’s probably a couple of reasons why you want to – additional income, better hours, more control, etc. But the one thing that everyone has before starting their business is a passion for what they do.
The thing that people love doing in their business is what may initially spark the idea of generating revenue from it. But once we kick things into gear, there are other factors to building a business that may not be as exciting, and all of the sudden you have emails to reply to, clients to get back to, a product that’s being demanded, paperwork to finish and it can feel never-ending.
That overwhelming feeling is one I think we’re all familiar with. It can affect how well we do the tasks we need to complete, our energy to complete those tasks, and how much energy we have leftover to do the things in our business we really love.
So what do you hate doing? What do you wish you could just cross off your list, never see again, or hire out for?
Sometimes it’s a matter of trying to figure out how to balance work life with the rest of life. You might have kids, a spouse, or animals who need your attention.
So for delegating, you can get a loan for hiring out if that’s a possibility for you.
Here are some places you can look if you’re hiring
-
Your network. Feel free to ask around your inner circle, maybe one of your past clients, to put out the feelers for someone detail oriented, driven, and eager to do a fantastic job. You never know what others know until you ask.
2. LinkedIn. People looking for jobs on LinkedIn get updates when positions open up in their field. You can post your job opportunities there and through notifications, potential hires actively searching for jobs will find you.
3. Indeed. Indeed is the number one search engine for all sorts of people looking for all sorts of jobs. You can implement an extra step of a quiz to make sure that only truly interested people will apply.
If not, you can dedicate a block of time to doing that mundane task you absolutely don’t want to do. You put away all distractions and buckle down. The quicker it’s done in an effective manner, the more time you have to focus on doing what you love and spending more time with the people you love.
