Last Mother’s Day, we sponsored a Makeover Contest with Leesburg Today , Jo Trimmer, LLC (makeup artist), and NOVA Plastic Surgery.  There were lots of nominations submitted of beautiful women who felt their mother deserved a makeover.  As I read through the stories, they brought me to tears!  Grateful that I didn’t have to pick the winner, I waited until the Leesburg Today readers voted on the two stories they felt were most deserving.  Please read the stories below and see the before/after pictures.  So excited I got to be a part of this rewarding and beautiful contest!

My step mom suffered a brain aneurysm rupture in early February and we are lucky that she is still alive. She is amazing because she always puts others first, regardless of the situation. She is my step mom but has always treated me like her own and has supported me since the day we met. She deserves to be recognized for all she has done and deserves a day of pampering after all she has been through these past few months!

My mom has only had one photo that was professional taken.  I was one years old in the photo and I am now 28. She has worked so hard to make sure everyone in our family is taken care of except herself. She has never taken the time to pamper or even get a manicure done. I think after 28 years of raising and many more of raising my brothers my mom deserves a little TLC for herself.
