Headshot Help!
As headshots are one of our top types of photo shoots, we get a lot of questions about how to prepare for and what to expect during a head shot session. We are here to help you and put your mind at ease! Let’s start with how to prepare! Aliyah, our photographer, likes to tell her clients to “keep it clean!” By this, we mean keep with simple pieces, no heavy designs. We recommend that you bring in 3-4 outfits and we will help you decide what looks best for the style you are going for. Not everyone is going for a “corporate” look. So sometimes, a black tshirt might be the PERFECT top. Depending on who you are trying to attract and who you are as a person, it will help mold your headshot session. Jewelry is always a great way to add a pop of color or more fun to your ensemble. Remember to keep an open mind when coming in for your shoot. A jacket or blazer can look nice, but it may also make you look stuffy… listen to the photographer! Relax, sit back and let us pamper you as we capture that perfect shot to represent you!
