Every once in awhile I’ll get someone who wants to book a headshot session and wants to know whether or not they should get their makeup done for their professional headshots.  The reason they ask is because normally they do not wear makeup and they don’t want to look overdone.  I want to have a little video I can refer them to regarding why I believe professional makeup should be a requirement before your headshot session.  I recommend men getting makeup as well, but that’ll be a video for another day.  So to quickly answer your question, no, I am not sick and no I am not tired.  I sure do look like though, don’t I?  Not that its necessarily a horrible thing, but why would I want my prospective clients to think I’m getting over a flu or haven’t slept for days (neither of which is true) simply because I didn’t manage my image by applying makeup before my headshot session. 

As you can see now, it doesn’t have to be a drastic glam look.  Our artists will create a look that will give you the results you want and need.  If you want something that gives you the no makeup look, they can do that. 

If you want something that’s a little more glam, they can do that too. 

Of course you can also add the hair styling as well if you would like. 

It’s all up to you.  Just know that our artists are trained professionals who not only create a look to make you happy, but know how it will translate to the camera and for your headshots.
